Crouthers and His Top Fuel HD
Rich and I worked together for many
years through the 70s and 80s at Lake County Cycles in Zion, Illinois.
Not only was Rich employed at Lake County Cycles in Zion, he was also a
very well known regional MX racer. Rich shared sponsorship with us and had
a Yamaha support ride for many years.

Nice Ice
Ice Racing was the winter sport for us in
the 70s and 80s. January and February spawned tracks in Northern Illinois
and Southern Wisconsin. Long Lake at Angie's Harbor Inn, Mineola Bay,
Lake Geneva Wisconsin, and the big spectator events at the Lambs Farm in
Libertyville.

Remembering Santa
Fe
Speedway
These pictures have been provided by Chuck
Weber. Chuck a long time racer and Flat Track enthusiast
has all of the original negatives of motorcycle racing at
Santa Fe Speedway taken by the original track photographer.
These
negatives represent racing at Santa Fe Speedway from the early 60s on until
Santa Fe Speedway stopped Professional Motorcycle Racing. It is estimated
he has over 40,000 negatives!!!
Weber is working on a "Best of Santa Fe" Series of pictures that will be
available on CD or DVD in the near future.
